Enhancing Student Engagement with Mathematical Discourse through enVision® A|G|A

Explore how to make students effective practitioners of mathematics by teaching them how to explain their mathematical understandings, engage in mathematical discussions with their peers, deliver sound mathematical arguments and critiques, and communicate using academic mathematical language. Through problem-based learning and authentic 3-Act Math tasks and enVision STEM projects, students use language to elevate their voices and communicate their ideas to others. Develop strategies for engaging students in rich mathematical discourse in alignment with problem-based learning, highlighting effective teaching and learning practices to increase mathematical proficiency in students.
