Social Studies is the story of people, their decisions, experiences, and viewpoints. Florida Social Studies Interactive brings a modern lens to content based on the Florida Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and prepares students with valuable critical thinking and inquiry skills that will help them succeed on Florida assessments.
Students explore the historical, geographic, political, economic and sociological events which influenced the development of the United States and the resulting impact on world history from Reconstruction to the present day. Students can clearly see the relationship between cause and effect in historical events as they review fundamental ideas and events which occurred before the end of Reconstruction.
