The student editions for Grades 1–6 include the Big Question, Picture it! literacy posters, main text selections, paired selections, and activities for vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension such as Think, Talk, and Write. Students use the student editions as a resource and refer to the Picture it! posters to grasp literary ideas. They use the main text and paired selections to practice their target reading skills. Also, students complete activities that follow the texts to develop word knowledge and comprehension skills.
