Welcome to the Sankofa K-3 Training page! Sankofa K-3 is a contemporary Black heritage resource for students in primary grades. The 16 cross-curricular content readers are designed to celebrate the inspiring and complex histories, stories, and cultural legacies of Black Canadians and people of the African diaspora.

Here, you'll find all the tools you need to get started.

The "On-Demand" tab offers all the support resources to guide you with set up, onboarding and log in.

Under "Onboarding Support," you'll find teacher-friendly support tools such as Frequently Asked Questions to help you begin.

Under "Communication/Log In Documents," you'll find login instructions for teachers, students, and admins based on your school's chosen integration method (e.g., Brightspace, Clever, EasyBridge, Google, or Manual Rostering to name a few). Only use the options relevant to your school/board. If you are unsure what that is, not to worry; contact your support team listed below who can point you to the right tool for your school/district.
