The Momentum Math User Guide provides step-by-step instructions for administering, scoring, and interpreting diagnostic assessments for Grades K–8 and Algebra 1. It includes guidance on preparing students, assigning assessments, and navigating reports in Savvas Realize.
New for Fall 2025, the Beginning-of-Year Diagnostic replaces the separate screener and BOY tests with a single adaptive assessment. Optional upgrades include Quantile measures and end-of-year performance forecasts. Algebra Readiness and Algebra 1 diagnostics are now available.
The guide also explains how to use student data to inform instruction and access targeted resources through the Momentum Math Concept Library.
